Most likely, it would show some actual activity. Whether it would diagnose subdural bleeding, I can’t say for certain. I think it is best that Neurologist make that determination.

An MRI with or without contrast would be the preferred way to visualize subdural bleeding. MRV would be used to evaluate problems in cerebral veins and sinuses. Ask your radiologist to explain and demonstrate what these procedures are intended to show.
