For more than 6months i have become aware of a lump on my throat under my jaw. it can be uncomfortable and sore at times and i'm not sure if i should be concerned?

Not clear where the lump is, inside or outside the mouth. A visit to the PCP/GP, Dentist or even the ENT specialist will give a Diagnosis and possible Treatment that will provide relief. Concern is unproductive as there might be no need for that.
