Yes: The first thing i would look at is your parotid gland. A large hard lump in that area could be malignant. See your doctor asap! good luck.

Swollen lymph node?: If you have an earache and doe throat it may be a swollen lymph node. In any event see a doctor for further evaluation and treatment.
