Does a colonoscopy and endoscopy help with detecting ovarian cancer?

No : Colonoscopy & endoscopy may help in the detection of gastrointestinal cancers (e.g. Esophagus, gastric, colorectal). Sometimes endoscopic ultrasound is used to look at near by lesions, such as when there is concern for pancreatic cancer. In certain conditions (e.g. Lynch syndrome), the incidence of cancers such as colon, gastric & ovarian are higher than average & added cancer surveillance needed.
