Dear doc, 6 months after potential exposure, i took 2 times tpha test in different lab & result was negative. is this conclusive ? should i run another test ?

You did not need the TPHA test in this situation and should not have had it. After exposure, the proper test is a "nontreponemal" test like EIA, VDRL, or RPR. If negative, it proves you did not catch syphilis. TPHA is only used to confirm positive results on EIA, RPR, etc. In any case, your negative results prove you do not have syphilis.

You do not need to test more for syphilis; however, syphilis is only one of the STDs. A condom may not protect against HPV, Herpes, LGV, pubic lice etc. It would be prudent to see your doctor for an evaluation.
