Had blood drawn @ docs office and sent to lab. results on patient portal says hiv 1/2 ab above neg result. saw a list of tests done by this lab online and it only lists hiv ag/ab test. possibly my test was actually ag/ab then? called office no help?

Sorry, this can't be sorted out with the info provided. Ask the lab if the doctor's office still can't explain. However, if the test was done long enough after your last possible exposure (8 weeks or more), the Ab only and AgAb test results are equally reliable. The only difference between them is 6 weeks versus 8 weeks.
