Regular Periods: Menses follow a lunar calendar. Since our calendar month has 30 to 31 days, it is possible to have you period twice a month. However there should be 23 to 35 between the start of one to the next.

Somtimes: Since most menstrual cycles are about 28 days long (can be 23 to 35 days) it is possible to have two cycles in a month. The bleeding should not occur less than 21 days apart.
