Well not normal: You have meno metrorrhagia. Bleeding between periods. This can be from many things but it is not exactly normal. If you are having very heavy cramps you might want to mention this do your gynecologist.

Infections ; hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do a home pregnancy test . There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.
