If you are feeling fine, you are probably OK, but it is always good to arrow the side of safety whenever you are talking about a hit to the head. Keep a close eye on things and make sure that someone is with you. If anything seems to be getting worse instead of better, you should see a doctor or go to the emergency room. Good luck.

You most likely strained your neck muscles during that hit. As Dr. S recommends observe for any delayed post traumatic brain and central nervous system symptoms. Mild headaches & some lightheadedness may occur, though but these are not necessarily serious and gradually improve.

Chances are your closed head injury resulted in a localized scalp hematoma ("goose egg") and secondary neck strain. Unless your neck symptoms worsen, or you develop headaches, nausea, vomiting, blurring or doubling of vision, dizziness, or gait imbalance, this should all resolve in a few days.
