Abscesses don’t tend to spread, although they can get in the bloodstream and Catherine hinfection elsewhere in the body or even cause organ damage due to sepsis. this is unusual, however, and usually antibiotics will treat your abscess definitively. If you have any other new symptoms other than the mouth sore, you should contact your doctor immediately. Good luck.
