Well, no....: cannot say in your particular case, and canker sores can have wide inflammation helped by NSAIDS. AND, serious infection can be misdiagnosed as a canker sore.

No: Pain is not normal, it' shout body screaming for help. Do yourself a favor. Call your Dentist. What you are calling a canker sore may be something else, and entirely unrelated to the tooth pain that may have a different origin.

Single Solution: for 2 separate problems. 1. Canker sore is the most common oral lesions. Individual ulcers typically last 1-2 weeks. 2. Tooth pain. Regardless, schedule an appointment to see your dentist, because the tooth pain will not go away without treatment. See your dentist.
