I am trying to find out and see from someone that is a doctor or rn and if one or the other could get back with me on my question of asking someone is can an adult sometimes have earwax that could possibly come out that looks like piece of string?

Ear wax can look like almost anything, including string. If you are concerned about earwax, see your doctor who can look inside your ear with an otoscope. If the wax is excessive, it can affect your hearing and your doctor can remove it. Good luck!
