I hurt the back of my wrist the other day i picked up an item weighing aprox 1kg i don't think i felt it hurt at the time & the veins on the back of my hand seem to be more raised than on the left hand & the pain is gettin worse any advice?

If the pain has persisted , consult an orthopedic physician, who may suggest an x-ray or CT to rule out a fracture. If your dominant hand is the one with "raised veins", this is normal b/c of more frequent use.
