Have a yeast and infection and im taking fluconazole. took one pill didnt work as much on second pill now. is it not all to have to take both pills 150mg? im on day 5 of the pills. please help do i need to go back to the dr or just give it time?

If your symptoms haven't cleared within a week after the second dose, discuss alternate treatments with your doctor. Up to 10% of vaginal yeast infections are caused by Candida strains resistant to fluconazole and other "azole" drugs. Good luck.
