Your fears are unfounded. You will not be poisoned or detrimentally affected by the exposed amalgam, regardless of what you may have read. Neither will you suffer from brain damage.

I don’t think that you get mercury poisoning and brain damage from the amalgam. Personally, I do not know too many practitioners who use amalgam anymore. Amalgam had been used for many, many years. There are not “millions” of people out there with brain damage. I would not be concerned.
