Most analgesics even the over the counter (OTC) medications have significant side effects if you use these for a long period of time. You need to see an internist or preferably a rheumatologist, for finding the cause of your leg pain and treat the cause, not just the symptom. In a short time, you can take acetaminophen or ibuprofen (if there is no contraindication) for the pain as needed.
