Sometimes if you vomit forcefully, you can see a small amount of blood. If the bleeding increases and you see more blood, you should go to the nearest ER. It could also be ketchup if that is what you ate. It can be difficult to know the difference. If the vomiting continues, call your doctor. Good luck!

If you have any more blood in your vomit or if you notice your stool turning black or tarry, you should go to the emergency room immediately to see a gastroenterologist. Good luck.
