Why? Why? Why?: was he prescribes this? It usually is for rheumatoid arthritis or severe arthritis. How old is your brother? The usual adult dose for severe arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis is 7.5 mg per day. The maximum dose per day is 15 mg. He took double the maximum dose. no better way to burn a hole in your esophagus or stomach. If he throws up blood, take him to the ER.
