Stupid question . is my larynx or trachea area suppose to move when i move my tongue? i was using my tongue to try to get popcorn out of tooth and my throat started hurting when i moved. can muscles be damaged that is preventing me from doing so ??

Possibly. Was the popcorn ultimately dislodged? If the popcorn was dislodged, then throat area might have been irritated. Allow for time to heal, and possibly try and eat softer foods.

Yes, you could be strained, sprained, hyperextended. Should clear in 2 weeks. If you have a hole big enough to house a popcorn kernel, probably time to see your Dentist.
