I just got my mra of the brain results, it reads theres an apparent tiny outpouching along the distal right a1 aca segment, which could be developmental in the setting of an azygos aca versus a fusiform aneurysm. can you explain? will i need surgery?

What was the reason you got the MRI done. Per the MRI it could be a developmental anomaly or be a fusiform aneurysm (dilatation of the blood vessel). Please consult a neurosurgeon. It appears that from the measurement it is a tiny outpouching and not an impending aneurysm.

From your description, it would appear that this is a nonspecific and nondiagnostic observation of minimal significance, and highly unlikely to correlate with your clinical indications for the study. Contact both the ordering doctor and the radiologist and discuss these findings in the context of your clinical symptoms.
