Dad has low hemo rbc hemat since 2011. Got worse. can he still have iron def even if mcv is normal. Doc never gave ferritin test. B12/folate normal.
My b12 has been 150 for 4 years now. My other labs are normal, negative for pernicious anemia, no symptoms that imply IBD, negative for celiac, and no other cause found. No real symptoms but folate is a bit high. Doctors arent investigating further?
