I was diagnosed with a bacterial infection in my mouth. my face and upper lip is swollen. i have been taking clindamycin 300mg for 2 days and my face still looks the same. whats other antibiotic is recommended for this type of bacterial infection?

Did your dentist diagnose the cause of this infection and what treatment is needed? Antibiotics help control a dental infection but will not cure the problem. If your infection is severe an I&D may be necessary to drain most of the infection before it will begin to work. Follow-up with your dentist or oral surgeon to see if a different medication is warranted.
