Hi, i tested positive for strep yesterday and i am experiencing really bad headache and stiff neck (no fever though). is this a cause for concern? and am i able to take ibuprofen with penicillin 500mg?

Not unusual to suffer a headache and neck stiffness (meningismus) as a consequence of a bacterial infection, especially strep pharyngitis. You should start to see improvement secondary to the antibiotics within 48 hrs.
