A member asked:

I had an ekg performed and wanted to know what slight high lateral repolarization disturbance, consider ischemia, lv overload, or aspecific change, (sinus rhythm) means. thank you?

The interpretation of this finding depends on your medical history, the reason why EKG was done, etc. in order to decide if further work-up needs to be done. E.g. if the EKG was done when you have severe HTN or CHF that change can be due to left ventricular LV overload. For a routine EKG and you are asymptomatic with normal exam, the change can be read as aspecific (nonspecific) change.
