Can an ultrasound tells you the accurate size of kidney stone?

Yes, if the stone can be directly visualized, the stone size can be measured accurately under a good hand. However, ultrasound technique varies a lot among the ultrasound technicians so stone size by CT scan is more accurate because it's not dependent on the technically skill.
