Have taken nebivolol 5mg twice for bp. dropped my resting heart rate into the 40s through most of night, is this normal? should i stop? bp has gone back to 115/75 because nebivolol does relax me and i do have anxiety. my normal bp is 145/85-130/80?

Heart rate usually drops during sleep but persistently below 50 for a young man is not recommended. With the current blood pressure. 115/75, you can safely reduce the dose in half but you should talk to your doctor. If heart rate remains low or blood pressure goes up above 130/80 with that change, nebivolol can be swithced to a different drug category such as calcium channel blocker, ACEi or ARB.
