What does this ct finding mean? abnormal circumferential thickening and edema seen of the distal gastric antrum at its junction with the duodenal bulb and involving the pylorus. a few tiny reactive mesenteric lymph nodes are seen in this area?

Above findings suggest inflammation/infiltration involving the lower part of the stomach, pylorus, the valve between the stomach and the duodenum and the first part of the duodenum. An upper endoscopy will help in clarifying as current findings are not diagnostic.

This CT findings must be evaluated invite of the clinical presentation of the patient, but having said that, it appears that the person here has some inflammation in the end of the stomach where it empties into the small intestine. Good luck.
