Teen w history mesenteric adenitis a year ago. problems again. ct scan showed "numerous sub centimeter reactive lymph nodes". translation? same thing?

Reactive = still pos: Sub centimeter is less than 1 centimeter Reactive means could still be infectious or resolving, however I see you are on Cellcept (mycophenolate mofetil) which suggest you are taking this drug for a transplant anti-rejection or you have Lupus. This drug could significantly reduce your immune system and if you are still having some of the symptoms of Mesenteric adenitis you had last year you should check with your PCP.

May be same : The most common finding of mesenteric adenitis is multiple prominent lymph nodes, especially in right lower abdominal mesentery. Having said that, many kids and teens may normally have multiple subcentimeter nodes. Mesenteric adenitis in a way becomes a diagnosis of exclusion, meaning that no other serious finding is found to account for pain. Hope this helps.
