High doses of corticosteroids can accelerate heart rates & could precipitate a bout of A Fib. Doses of methylprednisilone aren't super high in dospak. If you're taking diltiazem regularly it would offer some protection. If not, would your cardiologist be willing to recommend a daily dose for you to take while you're on the medrol dose pack? I'd like to see you get relief from cervical stenosis.
