A member asked:

An mri for right hip showed a bone mass on the left hip. subsequent mri was inconclusive about the mass, and i'm now awaiting results of a 3rd mri(with contrast). what are the likely outcome options?

Has an orthopedic surgeon performed a care physical examination of your hip, reviewed your history of any symptoms and also reviewed those MRIs? There's always concern about an abnormal bone mass & diagnostic clarity is required. If you don't get a satisfactory answer, consider being evaluated at a department of orthopedic surgery at a university hospital near you. Bring your MRIs.
