I recently had an mri of my rt hip that shows degeneration, thinning of the cartilage , narrowing if hip space and a mass on the femoral head options?

See below: Everything was fine ( degeneration, thinning, narrowing all indicate a 45 yo hip) up until you said mass on the femoral head. Mass on the femoral head needs better explanation. This needs to be discussed with the person who ordered your mri.

What type of mass: The other problems you state are treated like an arthritic joint-i.E meds, injections, therapy, weight loss, surgery. The mass needs to be evaluated to determine what it is and where its from.
