I have asthma & i am on steroids since 20 years , i think the steroids r having impact on my nerves, i am using a budesonide 100mcg daily one puff. i also have gerd & ibs-d. i wanted to know if switching to tablets (montelukast&antihistamine)cud help?

Long-term steroids can cause chronic side effects, so your concerns are justified. Whether or not you could go off of them depends on your underlying condition. You should see your primary care doctor or your pulmonologist to determine whether you can stop the steroids. Good luck.
