How long after exposure i have to wait to know for sure that hiv cmia 4th gen test is negative?

A negative result at 6 weeks after exposure is generally adequate tor rule out HIV, however, HIV is only one of the STDs. A condom may not protect against HPV, Herpes, LGV, syphilis, pubic lice etc. It would be prudent to see your doctor for an evaluation.
