Can group c strep cause dry mouth, metallic flavor, enlarged tonsil, sharp ear pain that comes and goes and swelling/ pain/ lump on neck under ear? all these only on left side? what else could it be?

Sure any infection can cause pain on one side and enlarged tonsils. How do you know you have group c strep ? Have you had a course of antibiotics. Are you allergic to penicillin? Have your primary give you either amoxicillin or augmentin if you are not pen allergic. Good luck and feel better.
