Strep throat a month ago. took zpak, feel better, no pain now, still white patches in throat&right side tonsils look weird&struggle w plugged ear.why?

Tonsils post-infx: It sounds like the infection cleared up ok (azithromycin is not my favorite drug for strep, it works ok), but you have more concern about chronic changes present in your tonsils and that is what is likely affecting your ear as well. If this is a one time thing, i'd give it another 4-8 weeks as long as you're feeling ok. If you have had chronic problems with recurrent tonsil/throat, time to see ent.
