I wanted to know what kind of growth, grows on the inside of the nose, right on the edge of the cartilage? it looks like a white thin stem with a round end. i went to the doctor and they told me it was a skin tag. is this true?

It is not feasible to do better than the doctor who examined you. You may watch and wait. If the lesion more than doubles in size, ulcerated, bleeds, or other lesions develop, it would be prudent to see an ENT doctor.
