My implant crown fell off yesterday (thursday) and i can't get in to see my dentist until late tuesday. my question is how do i properly take care of the screw that is sticking out of my gum until then? and my mouth in general until then?

The screw sticking out is the titanium abutment from the implant. Just brush it like normal. If the crown is too short (less than 4mm) and/or the abutment protruding from the gum too short (less than 3mm), the crown should be redo with the gum reduced to add to the height of the abutment (at least 3-4mm) and ultimately the height of the crown ( at least 5-6mm). Short crown has poor retention.
