3.5 years ago, calprotectin showed 200. Then 2000. Sigmoidoscopy & small bowel PillCam clear. Calprotectin went down to 60. In 2019 it was 100. Now it's 2000 again. Does this sound more like IBD or cancer? I have an appointment but extremely scared?
I am having a CT colonography due to chronic constipation & pencil stools. Will this show IBD, such as Crohn's/Colitis as well as colon/rectal cancer?
Calprotectin >1000. Colonoscopy couldnt make it past splenic flexure (bend too tight). Everything clear until this point, normal mucosa. Is cancer of proximal colon the cause of my calprotectin ? Worried its been missed, awaiting repeat colonoscopy?
