My wife has symptoms of a uti. she took a home test for uti and her leu was positive but she had no nitrtates in her urine. can this be a sign of chlamydia as well?

UTI probably is more likely, but it depends on details of her symptoms and risk for STD. If there is reason to believe there is risk, e.g. if either of you has had other sex partners recently, of course she should be tested for chlamydia, before she starts any treatment for UTI. Good luck.
