If i got a urine culture for probable uti, will the doctor tell me what bacteria caused uti if present? i am concerned i may have been exposed to chlamydia. i haven't received results yet from culture. quick test showed blood and bacteria in urine?

Almost by rule, doctor should discuss with patient about the condition and work-up result(s), how to treat and how to prevent the recurrence in the future if applicable. Because chlamydia is a STD so your doctor definitely has to inform and treat you and your sex partner should be treated as well.

Yes the doc will tell you . If he/she does not then ask. Chlmydia is not diagnosed by routine urine culture. Mention your concern to your doc. Drink water Good luck
