Scabies is a tiny mite that burrows under the skin in a specific way. The lesions are red bumps with a black pinpoint center and frequently linear looking red streaks. You can have just one or two, or thousands. If no rash at all- not scabies.

It will be unlikely or unusual, sometimes itching persists after treatment, would definitely consider other possible reasons for the itching.
