Maybe related issues: There are sudden hormonal shifts w/miscarriage. Those shifts put many of the normally growing hairs on scalp into a resting phase. At the end of 3-4 months of this resting phase, hairs shed. Many of them should grow back unless there are other underlying health issues. If there was a significant blood loss w/miscarriage, hair loss could also happen. Flakes are most likely seborrheic dermatitis.
