Hi i am a 29 year old female and have been suffering from painful and itchy scalp. it has resulted in patches of hair loss thats uncontrollable. i have tried moisturizing my scalp but it hasnt helped. i now have small bumps on my scalp. what should?

Fungal?: You may have seborrheic dermatitis or eczema, and often, an underlying fungal infection triggers it. Very often, when we pick on the scales, that can cause a secondary bacterial infection which leads to pain. Make sure there is no sign of lice. I would try Nizoral shampoo as instructed on the bottle and when that's finished, you might want to apply topical corticosteroid (like Scalpicin.)
