When should i be concerned about hair loss? i'm only 18, but my widows peak seems farther back than it feels like it should be along the edges. also, i have quite a bit of dandruff and my scalp is itchy often. is there an issue here?

Hair loss/dandruff: Hair loss is primarily determined by genetics. If your maternal grandfather or her brothers showed early hair loss, you will as well. Dandruff is easily addressed with specific shampoos containing salicylic acid, sulfur, zinc pyrithione (pyrithione zinc), coal tar, selenium sulfide, or ketoconazole. This should also address the itchiness.
