Double hernia 30 years ago, single left side about 60 years ago. two to three months ago left side popped out. i have been pushing it back in every time it pops out. but now it hurts so bad, and it's spreading. what do i do?

Once an inguinal hernia begins hurting,it's time to see the surgeon for evaluation and advice. It's urgent if the hernia can't be pushed back in ( reduced). Complications of incarceration and strangulation are dire and must be avoided.
