Not sure.: Your symptoms are nonspecific enough that it is difficult to tell for sure what is going on just from your short description. If you do know you already have Gerd, I would try taking a liquid antacid such as Mylanta when you get these symptoms, just to see if it helps temporarily. If it does, did you know that the problem is likely to be acid related. If they persist, see your G.I. doctor.
