Dx ibs for over 20 yrs. lately i've been getting popping sounds, sometimes high pitched noises, abd cramps, discomfort and lots of gas. pelvic pain at times common with my ibs. stools vary. could this be an ibs flare? been bad for a few weeks. tia?

It sounds more like agas problem. So eliminating foods which give you gas should help. Try otc Gasex too. IBS flare give more symptoms of pain, diarrhea'. If persist pl see your doc good luck
