If azythromycin 2g single dose is immediately followed by bactrim 800+160 for 8 days (1 pill every 12h) don't side effects compound? for instance, if both mess with qt and/or cause diarrhea, having both doesn't increase risk of those side effects?

No side effects would be expected from either drug, or from the two together. QTc problems are uncommon with single dose azithromycin.
