At urgent care. the dr said the bottom of my lungs are diminished. im on day 10 of covid still testing positive. all she said was take a z pack and steroid. is that normal? i smoke. im worried about pneumonia. no shortness of breath spo2 94-97?

"Bottom of lungs 'diminished'" suggests pneumonia, which often is treated with azithromycin (Z Pak). Your doctor may have just been avoiding the word pneumonia. But even if you have it, breathing normally and SP O2 94-97% indicates a mild case with little or no impairment of oxygenation. You'll be fine. But please take this as a "teachable moment" and do your best to stop smoking. Good luck.
