My annual blood tests came back with an indication of 30 mg/dl protein in my urine. everything else was within normal range. this is the first time that protein has been detected in my urine. i am 67, should this concern me?

What you need is a urinary albumin/creatinine ratio. If high then find out cause and work on that. Most likely cause, if not dehydrated, I’d high blood pressure. Usually from eating too much salt. Read about DASH diet.
